Adult Level 1 - Monday
If you're between the ages of 19-99, this is the class for you.
This beginner class is geared toward adults who want to get out and enjoy the lake with us for a few hours once a week. In this class, sailors will have an on-the-water sailing experience accompanied by an SYSC Instructor where they will learn nautical terms, how to rig and de-rig their boats, basic knots, points of sail and confidence in docking and maneuvering.
Adult Classes are taught on Sonars, a responsive and stable 23-foot boat. Learn more about the fleet here! It is the goal of our instructors that all students in the Level 1 course gain the skills to become a renter through SEAS for anyone looking to sail independently.
It begins June 10th and will run the following Monday nights from 6pm-8pm:

When you take adult lessons at SYSC, you also get a complimentary guest membership to the Sheboygan Yacht Club all summer long. Eat delicious food and enjoy the best view in town from the bar at the friendliest yacht club on Lake Michigan!
Who Is My Instructor?
Our adult classes are taught by the most experienced instructors we have on staff and are supervised by an instructor with their US Basic Keelboat Instructor Certification.
