We are extremely excited to announce the launch of our newest program - Support Our Sailors (S.O.S.)! For many years, it has been SYSC's goal to provide a place where young people from all backgrounds can gather to sail, live, and learn together.

It is the goal of S.O.S. to further our mission of cultivating an appreciation of both sailing and Lake Michigan by assisting students who are not able to afford the class fees, equipment, or other costs associated with participating in our program. At SYSC we offer classes for everyone, ranging from the first-time novice sailor to the advanced racer with lofty goals of offshore sailing, and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to try them. 

S.O.S. was created with that belief in mind. With the support of generous donors, our dream of creating an accessible pathway for students and their parents in our community to experience the magic of sailing with us has become a reality! The process to apply is simple.
